Evie is now pulling herself up on everything and she likes to be risky and only hold on with one hand.
She is also now officially crawling, though when she's very excited to get something she'll revert back to her commando crawl.
It's amazing to me how quickly babies learn new tricks. There have been so many times where I've thought, "She'll never (sit up, crawl, stand up, etc.)," and then within a few days she's learned how to do it on her own. Watching this little girl grow has caused us to be even more amazed at our Creator and how perfectly He has made all of us.
Here she is walking with our friend, Dan.
I'm glad that Chris has one girl in his life who will watch football with him. I really try, but sometimes it's more important for me to do the dishes, or cook pumpkins, or wash my hair... :)
We have some really crazy squirrels in these parts.
This past weekend, we went up to my in-laws mountain house for a night before we went on our church retreat in western Virginia. It was so wonderful to get away from the DC craziness and be out in God's beautiful country. We felt so refreshed the entire weekend, and Evie loved being all bundled up in a hat, 2 hoods, 3 onesies...
