Go Ahead- make a guess

For fun, I thought I'd put up comparison pictures of my 2 pregnancies. You can make guesses of what you think we're having. I have no idea, really. I thought moms were supposed to have hunches about these things, but I was wrong with Evie. And whenever I think I have a good idea of what we're having this time around, I'll have a dream that tells me otherwise. So, all this to say, we're going to be Very Surprised, which is what we wanted anyway!

Pregnant with Evie at 32 weeks

Pregnant with ??? at 32 weeks

Here are some stats about this pregnancy to help you in your guessing:
  • I've taken about 5 online gender prediction quizzes and they've all come back saying that I have a 50% chance of having a boy (but some did say that I have a 50% chance of having a girl- these quizzes are so reliable!).
  • I was much sicker during the 1st trimester of this pregnancy.
  • The only thing that ever tasted good to me for about 1 1/2 months during that awful trimester was orange juice.
  • We had an ultrasound at 32 weeks because I was measuring at 28 weeks. The results came back showing that the baby was measuring at 34 weeks and was approximately 4 pounds, 7 ounces. (I guess all that means is that the baby is within the normal range for the stage I'm in now.)
  • I haven't gained as much weight with this pregnancy, but I think that's mostly because with Evie I had sciataca and basically couldn't walk for 2 months. Thank God that hasn't happened this time around!
  • This baby is high and low at the same time. It's always kicking my ribs, yet the ultrasound showed that the baby was pretty low and head down (Another yay!).
  • When I look down at my stomach it's symmetrical (I guess that's another old wives' tale).
  • As far as dreams go, I've dreamt that I've had a boy and a girl, so that doesn't help too much.

Well, I hope this helps! Maybe some of you will be more convinced than us after hearing all this information. We'll find out in just a few weeks! :)

  1. I will go out on a limb and say BOY! It looks like you are carrying differently this time around.

  2. I say boy too, though it's not a strong hunch.

  3. I'd say boy too, but I have to have front view pictures to be sure, hahaha!
