When we were first married, Chris and I attended a Pie Workshop through Sur La Table as a gift from Chris' sister. We loved attending that course and have made those same pies quite frequently since then. So, when our friend, Brandon, asked us to join he and his wife for a Grilling Date Night at Sur La Table, we jumped at the chance. Throughout the evening we made an entire meal of appetizers, entree, sides, and dessert. And of course we had time to shop through their wonderful store.

| There were eight couples there and we worked in teams of four. |

We both took away something from this course. For me, I am determined to use only fresh herbs when possible- they make everything taste so good! And for Chris, he got excited about cooking again. Yesterday he made me strawberry crepes with eggs and sausage for breakfast and for dinner he made peanut satay with rice noodles. I'm excited to see what else he comes up with over the summer, especially since he has all of July and August off from classes!
Thanks, Brandon and Stacey, for the great evening!
