Fire Trucks and Rice Krispies Treats

This weekend our MOPS group had a special event where a fire truck came to visit the kids. They got called out a few times for emergencies, but that made it an even more exciting adventure! 

And today, Evie helped me make Rice Krispies treats.  Her job was to put all the marshmallows in the bowl because that is a very important step in the recipe.  But she decided that the best way to do that was to put in one marshmallow at a time.  So much for "whipping up" a batch of Rice Krispies treats!

 

But the best part was sticking her hands in the box of cereal and eating the remains of the Rice Krispies!

I like having a day at home with no plans and nowhere to go.  They are usually my favorite!
