Thanksgiving

This year we went to my cousin's house for Thanksgiving. I would consider their family to be gourmet cooks, so we had a REALLY good meal! An added bonus is that the house was already childproofed since they have a child Evie's age, so that allowed us to not have to chase Evie all over the house telling her not to touch everything in sight. We had a very restful, relaxing, fun day with good time to catch up with our family.

Here's our first attempt at getting a Christmas picture. Evie didn't want to sit still, though.

The kids found these sunglasses and had fun trading them back and forth.

The water floatie was another big hit, along with the broom. Why do we ever buy kids expensive toys?

The kids kept watching for the doggy all day. Their dog is appropriately named Sweetie because she really is the sweetest Great Dane you'd ever meet.

A fun wagon ride before dessert.

The next day, as is our tradition, we went out to look for a Christmas tree. Unknowingly, we probably went to one of the most expensive nurseries in our area, but we got the cheapest tree from this place. It's still a beauty!

This wagon ride didn't work as well.

Every Thanksgiving my parents give the grandkids matching Christmas pj's. They always look so cute together. Hannah is just playing up the part! :)

We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!
