Look at this little girl. She grew into a real person with a real personality seemingly overnight! (of course, she was always a real person, but for those first couple months they seem more like a little demanding creature.)
Cora still has her happy personality. She has started to do some great belly laughs, and they're always directed at Evie. We usually put her in her Bumbo on our table during supper, and whenever Evie makes a funny face or sound, Cora will give a great laugh, which of course makes Evie do it more. Not great for table manners, but we can't help laughing ourselves!
Cora is a good sleeper, going about 11 hours most nights, but she had a cold this week which caused her to wake up more often. We haven't started solid foods with her yet. By this point with Evie I was trying many foods. Oh the energy of a first time mother! I think we'll wait until 6 months with Cora at which point she'll probably be better developed for it anyway.
She is discovering so much about her world right now. I got rid of many of the baby toys that we used with Evie, focusing in on just a few really good ones with Cora, like her Sophie giraffe, Glo-Worm, and some rattles. Most of the time, though, she's just interested in her hands. When I put my face up to hers, she grabs my cheeks with both hands and pulls my face in for a big, slobbery kiss. It's the cutest thing!
We're just so in love with her and so happy to have her in our family.
