Chris and I have been trying to spend some one-on-one time with Evie now that she's old enough to understand the idea of special dates. So on Saturday, Chris stayed home with Cora while Evie and I went out for the morning.

| We started out at Chick-fil-A for breakfast. We love Chick-fil-A! |

| Then we went to our local Christian bookstore to meet Bob and Larry. |
During our time at the bookstore, Evie talked Non-Stop!
"Mommy, there's Bob and Lally."
"Mommy, where are Bob and Lally going?"
"Bob and Lally, look at me!"
"Mommy, Bob gave me a balloon."
"Mommy, I go see Bob and Lally."
She did this all while staying a safe 10 feet away from them. I couldn't stop laughing. Imagine this girl at Disney World!

| And we stopped at Target to get her a new backpack and lunch box for preschool! |
We're doing a small preschool co-op with 5 of my friends. It's 2 mornings a week and I only have to be there 1 of those days. There are 8 kids total from ages 2 1/2 to 4. We're really excited about this, and of course, Evie is so excited about her new gear!
