Repurposed Diaper Box

I've been wanting to try this for awhile.  On other blogs I read, I've seen some moms who re-use those huge diaper boxes for storage.  So, after recycling probably 40 diaper boxes in the past 2 1/2 years, I finally decided to do it.  Evie was needing a new storage place for her books.  We've been using a basket that has a handle but sometimes it's hard for her to get the big books around the handle.  So I thought this would be a good project for her books.  I found some nice wrapping paper at Michael's and used some contact paper I had on hand to make it stay.  Then I put a blanket on the bottom of the box, because, you know, a blanket will make it so much sturdier!

So, while I'm not terribly happy with the final result (too many wrinkles, I didn't have enough contact paper to completely cover it, the box isn't quite sturdy enough for a 2 year old who likes to carry it around), at least I tried it!
